One of my favorite newly developed bands from the great state of Oklahoma is Tallows.
After hearing their demos on The Oklahoma Rock Show, I knew I wanted to collaborate with the Okie quartet. Then fate intervened. Tallows frontman Josh Hogsett contacted me about an ambitious concert idea involving a dozen or so dancers. It didn’t sound like your everyday concert and it wasn’t. The show was titled “A Soft Exchange” and it was a beautiful blend of audio and visual. Maggie Boyett and Kathleen McKenna’s choreography complimented the lush, electronic ballads perfectly. A few of us captured the song “Soft Water,” and I’ve been slowly piecing it together.
