“Monster Truck” is the first single from Sugar Free Allstars’ self-titled fourth studio album which’ll hit stores April 2. Travis Tindell and I shot, edited and produced the family funk super duo’s crazy music video.
The film’s star Sebastian Savage, 7, was hilarious and really easy to work with. He’d barely ever set foot behind the wheel but he figured things out pretty quickly. He only ran me over 16 times.
One thing I love about Oklahoma is how willing locations are to share their time and space. The lovely humans at Fowler VW of Norman donated their garage for an entire day of shooting. I can’t thank them enough.
The Sugar Free Allstars have had some impressive radio play on Sirius XM and landed on a Grammy Award-winning album. I hope this adds to the band’s longevity. I’m very proud of the results.
