I just wrapped up roughly 25 drawings for a new stop motion with Kyle Roberts.
S***s about to get prehistoric.

I’m working on a fun art project with my friend Kyle. It’s a stop motion for DreamWorksTV, and I’m in charge of illustrating backgrounds from the Dinotrux opening credits.
It takes about an hour to finish each background, and I’m excited to see the end results.
Here’s a fun way to see if you’ve earned my love or not.
I have a very sweet lady friend with crazy good doodle skills.
Thanks, Kalyn.
I done did got doodled.
Thanks Kalyn.
Proud to see this finally hit 1 million views.
See you guys again at 2 million.
The Sugar Free Allstars commissioned me to create an album cover for its Record Store Day release. It’s a 7 ” vinyl featuring funky sounds for the family friendly crowd. I made the album cover with construction paper, glue sticks and caffeine. You’ll be able to pick up the album at Guestroom Records during RSD on April 19, and you’ll even be able to catch them play live too at 3:00 p.m. April 19 at Guestroom Records’ OKC storefront.
Check out some of Quit Nguyen’s photos to see how cool the vinyl looks.
While I was giving a presentation about VDub Sessions at Confluence Conference, an audience member drew a picture of me. Thanks to Chris Nguyen for doodle. I added the color after I got home. I dig it.
This is the longest hand drawn animation I’ve done. It’s for an upcoming music project I’m working on. I created the animation by drawing about 30 mustaches on sticky notes, scanning the results and building a timeline in Final Cut Pro. The results should be done in early August to promote the 4th Annual Mustache Bash.
My girlfriend’s little brother is 10 and has a limitless supply of energy and creativity. After dinner, we watched Ghostbusters and drew together. This is the first result from the doodle session.
I hope to be able to do this every week.
I’m contemplating interesting places to live, and I think this would be a pretty sweet spot to call home.
I offered a free doodle request to whoever would fill out the contact sheet down at the bottom of my blog. In less than a couple minutes, Chris McGrady chimed in and asked for an Okie music inspired drawing. She suggested I listen to “Soft Water” by Tallows. Here’s the result. Thanks for the request, Chris.
Feel free to throw me ideas too. The more the merrier.
Basically, it’s KD and David Bowie wrapped into one.
Working on some parting gifts and swag-related material for VDub Sessions. Would you use this guy as a sticker on your trapper keeper or would you throw it on the bathroom stall of your favorite Whataburger? I know I would. It would be delicious.
It’s with somewhat enthusiasm that I welcome you to my website! Thanks to the talented combination of Brad Ulrich and caffeine, this Interweb hotspot is a reality. Check this blog for photos, doodles and an idea of the adventures I stumble into.
