This Prettyboy shoot was nothing but gold.
Jacob Abello approached me about doing a Kickstarter video unlike a standard talking head one. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with using a simple interview to explain what you hope to do with Kickstarter funds. However, that just wouldn’t be Jacob’s style.
We gathered his band, friends and a few bottles of champagne to create a Prettyboy experience. The goal was to highlight the type of performer Jacob strives to be and make it fun. He’s got flair and style to spare so we worked to capture that with a one shot video. The album is going to bigger and badder and Jacob’s first release and I hope you can see that above. Also, special thanks to Brandon Land for his art direction and supers.
