Above is my first attempt at a country music video, and I’m happy with my work.
My client Kaitlin Butts wanted something to showcase her live performance. The ACM@UCO student had an upcoming show at The Wormy Dog Saloon so we planned to meet a few hours before her set. Emily Ifill joined me to help capture Kaitlin’s full band experience. It was a fun shoot to direct, and the venue has an excellent lighting set up. The video pretty much shot itself and Kaitlin did her own color correction.
