What thoughts swim around your brain when you’re all alone? A better question might be what happens when they hop out of the water? Some people dry them off, record the results and make cassette tapes.
That’s what Net’s Kyle Vasquez did when he was working by himself on the songs for “Memory Swipe.” The album is an impressive debut and a piece of electronic bedroom rock that’s worth grabbing the volume knob for a twist toward a noise that’ll bother your neighbors.
